Flush 2x2 tile adapter drops a projector from a standard grid ceiling
Finish a suspended-ceiling projector install so it looks built in. This QualGear Pro-AV kit combines the QG-PRO-PM-50-W projector mount, the QG-PRO-PM-SCA2-W suspended ceiling adapter — a flush 2 x 2 ft / 61 x 61 cm ceiling tile design — and a 3 in / 7.6 cm, 1.5 in NPT threaded pipe, in white, for drop or suspended ceilings on standard grid systems.
The adapter sits flush in place of a tile, its collar slides 17.24 in / 43.8 cm, the pipe threads in, and the kit carries projectors up to 50 lb / 22.7 kg — with Pitch, Roll, and Rotation across 12 adjustment points to square the image. In the box: projector mount, suspended ceiling adapter, 3 in / 7.6 cm NPT threaded pipe, and presorted hardware. The kit's combined manual is on this page; printed copies will be included in future production.
The 1.5 in NPT thread is the QualGear Pro-AV system standard — for a lower drop, swap the included pipe for a longer QualGear extension pipe or join lengths with a QualGear NPT pipe connector. Aims the image after installation
Pitch ±20°, Roll ±8°, and Rotation ±180° across 12 adjustment points square the picture once the mount is up.
Extends to lower drops
The standard 1.5 in NPT thread accepts longer QualGear pipes when the projector needs to hang farther below the grid.
