QualGear LLC is an American product design and technology company in Anna, Texas, founded in 2013. It owns three brands: QualGear, the house brand for mounting, connectivity, and AV hardware; QualGear Pro-AV, the modular commercial mounting line inside QualGear; and Star Ergonomics, the workspace and ergonomics brand. All three are designed, warranted, and supported by the same US-based team. This page sets out what each brand covers, who it serves, and how warranty and support work across them.

HOUSE BRAND
Mounting, connectivity, and AV hardware for homes, offices, and commercial rooms — TV wall mounts, projector mounts and mounting kits, fixed-frame projector screens and screen fabrics, monitor and desk mounts, speaker and soundbar mounts, AV shelves, HDMI and network cables, and cable management. Designed in Anna, Texas, with model-specific instructions and presorted hardware.
A LINE INSIDE QUALGEAR
The modular commercial mounting line — not a separate company. Every component threads into the same 1.5 in NPT interface: ceiling adapters, extension pipes, pipe connectors, projector brackets, and complete kits, under QG-PRO and QG-KIT model numbers. Used by AV integrators, commercial facilities, schools, entertainment venues, houses of worship, and indoor golf installers.
WORKSPACE BRAND
The workspace and ergonomics brand owned by QualGear LLC, also written StarErgo — sit-stand desktop converters, electric standing desk frames, and portable converters. Star Ergonomics products sit alongside the QualGear Smart Standing Desk frame and its accessories in one standing desks and ergonomics collection.
BOUNDARIES
QualGear Pro-AV shares the QualGear name, the same catalogue, and the same support desk. You can tell a Pro-AV item by its model number: QG-PRO and QG-KIT. Everything else in the mounting range is plain QualGear.
QualGear provides warranty and support for QualGear, QualGear Pro-AV, and Star Ergonomics — the same US-based team in Anna, Texas, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central. Support is not offshored.
Pro-AV mounting systems and kits carry a 5-year limited warranty (parts only). Fixed-frame projector screens and screen fabrics carry a 2-year limited warranty (parts only). Every other QualGear-branded product carries a 1-year limited warranty (parts only). Replacement parts are covered for the remaining period of the original product's warranty (parts only).
UL Listed applies to a specific model, never to a whole category, and the UL mark appears on that product's label. Named program certifications — the Premium HDMI Cable Certification Program, and Qi certified wireless charging — are stated on the pages of the products that carry them.
The indoor golf catalogue on this store — hitting mats, impact screens, practice nets, putting greens, and enclosure accessories — is supplied and shipped by our golf specialist partner, and is not QualGear-branded. Those items are covered by the partner's product warranty. QualGear supplies the projector mounts, Pro-AV components, and cabling for the same room.

ROUTING
HOME AND OFFICE
Start with QualGear. For a display, fit is decided by the VESA hole pattern and the weight capacity — screen size alone is not sufficient. For a projector, it is decided by weight and mounting-hole geometry. Both sets of numbers are published on every product page under Key Specifications.
COMMERCIAL AV
Start with QualGear Pro-AV. Ceiling adapters, extension pipes, pipe connectors, and brackets combine on one 1.5 in NPT thread for flat, suspended-grid, truss, and sloped ceilings. Compatible components may be combined when specifications, threading, load ratings, and instructions permit — the assembly is evaluated as a system, and the lowest applicable load limit controls.
WORKSPACE
Start with Star Ergonomics. Converters sit on a desk you already own; electric frames replace the base and take a tabletop you supply. Check each model's published lift range, its weight rating, and whether a tabletop is included before you order.
