Ordering and processing

How quickly are in-stock website orders processed?

Most in-stock orders placed before 2:00 p.m. Central Time on a regular business day are processed for same-day shipment.

What does same-day processing mean?

A reasonable effort to prepare your order for carrier pickup that day. It does not assure carrier acceptance, pickup time, or delivery date.

What happens if I order after 2:00 p.m. Central Time?

Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, on holidays, or during severe weather may be processed on the next available business day.

Is inventory availability assured until I place an order?

No. Availability can change. For large, urgent, or project-critical orders, contact QualGear before ordering.

What should I do if my order is time-sensitive?

Contact our operations team before ordering. We review availability, processing, shipping options, the destination, and any special handling. Carrier transit remains subject to carrier conditions.

Can a large commercial order require additional processing time?

Yes. Large, palletized, mixed-SKU, export, documentation-intensive, or special-handling orders can take longer. Our operations team can give a project-specific estimate.

What are QualGear's regular business hours?

Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time. We are closed on major U.S. holidays and may run a reduced schedule during severe weather or conditions that affect employee safety and carrier operations.

Returns and refunds

What is the return period for products purchased directly from QualGear?

Products purchased directly from QualGear may be eligible for return within 30 days of the date of purchase, subject to the return conditions and approval process.

Do I need an RMA before returning a product?

Yes — every return needs an approved return merchandise authorization (RMA). Do not send anything back before approval.

How do I request an RMA?

Email support@qualgear.com or call +1-972-423-5015. Provide your name, order number, model or SKU, quantity, the reason for the return, your contact information, and photos when requested.

What condition must a return be in?

Unless a confirmed defect, shipping error, or other approved condition applies, a return must be complete, unmodified, uninstalled or carefully removed, resalable, in the original box, and accompanied by the approved RMA documentation.

What original contents should be included?

All applicable mounting hardware, brackets, adapters, cables, accessories, manuals, wall-marking templates, hardware packs, protective packaging, and any other supplied components.

What happens if a returned product is incomplete or damaged?

Deductions or additional charges may apply, and the return may not qualify for a full refund.

Who pays return shipping?

The customer, unless QualGear confirms the return resulted from our error or a covered product issue.

Does QualGear charge a restocking fee?

A restocking fee may apply based on condition, packaging, completeness, order type, and the reason for the return. When reasonably possible, it is communicated during the RMA review.

Are original shipping or freight charges refundable?

Original shipping, expedited service, freight, customs, and third-party fees may be nonrefundable unless required by law or specifically approved.

When will my refund be issued?

After the returned merchandise is received and inspected. Timing varies with the item's condition, inspection needs, your payment provider, and your financial institution.

How is the refund paid?

Generally to the original payment method, unless another method is required or approved.

Where do I send an approved return?

QualGear LLC, Attn: Returns Department, 820 S. Central Expressway, Anna, TX 75409, United States. Include a copy of the approved RMA.

What happens if I return a package without authorization?

It may be refused, delayed, or returned to sender.

Can QualGear refund a product purchased from another retailer?

No. Purchases from Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, DigiKey, or another seller must be returned through that seller under that seller's return policy.

Can QualGear still help with a product purchased from another seller?

Yes, with valid proof of purchase: product information, installation guidance, warranty questions, and replacement-part requests, subject to warranty terms and eligibility.

Are clearance or final-sale items returnable?

Items identified as clearance or final sale at the time of purchase may not be eligible for return when that restriction is disclosed. If a final-sale item arrives damaged or with missing contents, that is handled under the delivery-issue process — contact us promptly with photos.

Warranty and replacement parts

Does QualGear provide a warranty?

QualGear stands behind its products with a limited parts warranty, subject to the warranty terms applicable to the individual product.

Is the warranty the same for every product?

Not necessarily. Terms, duration, eligible components, exclusions, and procedures vary by model and sales channel.

What does the limited warranty generally cover?

Eligible QualGear product components that meet the applicable warranty conditions. Verification of the purchase, the product's identity, the issue, and the installation may be required.

What costs are generally not covered?

Coverage is parts only. Installation labor, removal labor, reinstallation labor, contractor charges, and related service costs are not covered unless expressly stated in writing.

What types of damage or conditions are generally excluded?

Property damage, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, incompatible equipment, exceeding published weight or size limits, and shipping damage not reported within the required period.

What information is required for warranty assistance?

Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt), the model number, a description of the issue, photos or video when requested, and your full name, email, shipping address, and phone number.

Can I request a replacement part instead of returning the entire product?

Replacement parts may be available when the product and issue are eligible. It depends on the model, part inventory, coverage, and purchase verification.

Are replacement parts always in stock?

No. Availability depends on the product's age, model status, and component inventory.

Will QualGear pay a contractor to remove and reinstall a product?

No, unless expressly agreed in writing.

Does a replacement part extend or restart the original warranty?

A replacement part is covered for the remaining period of the original product's warranty. It does not restart or extend the warranty period, and it does not create a new full warranty term unless that is stated in writing.

What warranty term applies to each QualGear product family?

QualGear Pro-AV products (QG-PRO- and QG-KIT- model numbers) carry a 5-year limited warranty, parts only. Projector screens and screen fabrics carry a 2-year limited warranty, parts only. All other QualGear products carry a 1-year limited warranty, parts only. The model-specific written term on the individual product page controls for that model.

How quickly do approved replacement parts ship?

For an approved warranty claim with an in-stock replacement part, QualGear generally aims to process the part for shipment within 3–5 business days after approval. This is a service target, not a committed delivery date. The replacement part is covered for the remaining period of the original product's warranty.

Can I buy replacement fabric for my projector screen?

Replacement screen fabrics are sold as replacement parts and fit QualGear fixed-frame screens only — they are not universal fabrics for other brands' frames. Confirm your screen model before ordering, and contact support if you are not sure which fabric matches your frame.

Is a product bought from an authorized retailer covered by the QualGear warranty?

Yes. The limited parts warranty covers the original purchaser of a new, genuine QualGear-branded product bought directly from QualGear or from an authorized retailer, distributor, dealer, or reseller — proof of purchase is required. Used, as-is, liquidation, or unauthorized-seller purchases may be ineligible, and a bona fide gift recipient may submit the original purchaser's valid proof of purchase.

Product quality and documentation

How does QualGear approach product quality?

Quality control is integrated throughout design, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, fulfillment, and customer support. Products are evaluated for performance, reliability, fit, finish, and ease of installation.

Are all QualGear products UL Listed?

No. Select QualGear mounts, standing desks, and related products are UL Listed or have undergone applicable third-party safety testing. Certifications vary by model — review the individual product page, packaging, or certification label for the exact model.

Where can I confirm a product certification?

On the product page, retail listing, packaging, product label, or technical documentation. Do not assume one model's certification applies to another model in the same category.

Do QualGear products include installation instructions?

Most products that require assembly or installation include model-specific instructions. Depending on the model, these may include step-by-step guidance, full-color illustrations, hardware references, and installation diagrams.

What installation aids may be included?

Depending on the model: presorted hardware packs, color-coded hardware references, paper wall-marking and drilling templates, preassembled wall plates, and clearly identified screws, washers, spacers, and accessories.

Does every product include the same hardware and accessories?

No. Contents vary by model, size, installation method, and application. Review the product page and the manual before installing.

Why are some major components preassembled?

QualGear avoids dividing major structural components into smaller pieces solely to reduce package size. Preassembly improves structural consistency and reduces assembly time.

What should I do if an instruction manual or part appears to be missing?

Pause the installation and contact QualGear before substituting parts or modifying the product. Provide the model number, proof of purchase, a description of the missing item, and photos of the package contents when requested.

What does Premium HDMI certification mean?

The Premium HDMI Cable Certification Program is the HDMI Licensing Administrator's certification for High Speed HDMI cables. Each certified model and length is tested at an HDMI Authorized Test Center for the full 18 Gbps bandwidth — covering 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, and BT.2020 color — plus an EMI test confirming the cable minimizes interference with wireless signals.

Two distinctions matter when comparing cables. First, "High Speed" by itself is a cable category name, not this certification — only cables carrying the program's label are certified under it. Second, the certification applies to the cable, not the whole system: 4K HDR playback still requires a source and display that support it. Ultra High Speed HDMI certification is a separate program for the 48 Gbps class of cables used for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz.

The QualGear Premium Certified High Speed HDMI cable family (QG-PCBL-HD20) is certified under the program and carries the program's anti-counterfeit label.

How do I verify that an HDMI cable is certified under the Premium HDMI program?

Every cable certified under the Premium HDMI Cable Certification Program carries an anti-counterfeit label with an encrypted QR code on its packaging. Scanning the code through the HDMI Licensing Administrator's verification tools confirms the certification along with the brand, model number, and cable length. Because certification is issued per model and per length, a certification on one length does not transfer to a longer cable of the same model — verify the specific cable you are buying.

A cable without the label may still carry a manufacturer specification rating: the QualGear QG-CBL-HD20 High Speed HDMI cable is rated to 18 Gbps per the HDMI 2.0 specification, and the QG-CBL-HD21 ultra high speed class cable is rated to 48 Gbps for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz. Specification ratings and program certifications are stated separately, so confirm the exact claim on the product page, packaging, or label for the specific model.

Choosing the right product

How do I choose the correct mount or mounting kit?

Start with your exact equipment model, its weight, its mounting pattern, the installation location, the supporting surface, the required extension or drop, and the adjustment range you want. Then compare those against the QualGear model's published specifications and manual.

How do I know whether a TV or monitor mount is compatible?

Confirm the display's weight, the mount's screen-size range, the mounting-hole (VESA) pattern, and clearance requirements. Your equipment must fall within all published limits — meeting only one, such as screen size, is not sufficient.

How do I know whether a projector mount is compatible?

Confirm the projector's weight, its mounting-hole locations, the mounting orientation, the required ceiling drop, and the installation surface and structure. For universal brackets, verify the adjustment range reaches the projector's mounting points without obstruction.

Can I select a product based only on the equipment screen size?

No. Always verify weight capacity, mounting pattern, dimensions, clearances, hardware requirements, the supporting structure, and the installation conditions as well.

What is the QualGear Pro-AV line?

A modular line for demanding commercial installations: ceiling adapters, 1.5-inch NPT threaded extension pipes, pipe connectors, projector brackets, and truss, vaulted-ceiling, and custom-drop mounting solutions.

Can Pro-AV components be combined to create a custom drop?

Compatible components may be combined when specifications, threading, load ratings, and instructions permit. The complete assembly must be evaluated as a system, and the lowest applicable load or installation limit controls.

Can QualGear confirm compatibility for my project?

We can provide specifications and general technical information. For a useful review, share your equipment make and model, its weight and mounting pattern, the ceiling or wall type, the desired drop or extension, photos or drawings, and any unusual site conditions.

Does a compatibility review replace professional engineering or onsite inspection?

No. Remote guidance cannot verify concealed structure, substrate condition, local code, field dimensions, or workmanship. Structural or code-sensitive installations need a qualified professional.

Why do QualGear product pages list every supported VESA pattern?

Each mount's product page lists the complete set of VESA patterns it supports rather than an open-ended range. If your display's exact pattern appears in the list and the display's weight is within the mount's rated capacity, the mount supports that pattern. Fit is determined by the VESA pattern and weight capacity — not by the screen diagonal alone.

How do I read a VESA pattern like 400x400 mm?

The first number is the horizontal distance between the display's mounting holes and the second is the vertical distance, both in millimeters — 400x400 mm is about 15.7x15.7 in. Check your display's manual or measure the hole spacing on the back of the display, then compare it against the patterns listed on the mount's product page.

How do I choose a standing desk height range for my height?

Use the elbow rule from workplace ergonomics guidance: set the work surface at about your standing elbow height, so your elbows stay close to your body and bend at about 90 degrees with your forearms roughly parallel to the floor. Position the monitor between horizontal eye level and about 35 degrees below it. A desk fits you when its published height range covers your elbow height both seated and standing.

Check each product page's height range before choosing. The Star Ergonomics SE06 and SE07 electric frames adjust from 24.4 to 50.4 in (62 to 128 cm) and ship as frames only — you supply a tabletop 40–72 in (102–183 cm) wide and 24–36 in (61–91 cm) deep. Desk converters raise a separate platform on top of your existing desk, and each converter's travel range is listed on its product page.

What is the difference between single-motor and dual-motor standing desks?

Dual-motor frames use two lifting motors and, per Star Ergonomics, offer heavier lifting ability and increased stability; single-motor designs generally cost less and suit lighter loads. Manufacturers typically pair one motor with each leg on a dual-motor frame, while a single motor drives the mechanism through a shared drive, and lift speed depends on the specific model's drive design rather than motor count alone.

In the QualGear catalog, the dual-motor Star Ergonomics SE06 and SE07 electric frames are rated for 220 lb (99.8 kg), while the single-motor electric desk converters carry platform ratings of 22–33 lb (10–15 kg) where stated on the product page.

Should I choose a desk converter or a full standing desk?

A desk converter sits on top of the desk you already own and raises its platform from seated to standing height — typically the lower-cost path, with portable models available, and platform ratings of 22–33 lb (10–15 kg) where stated. A full standing desk or frame moves the entire work surface, carries higher ratings — the Star Ergonomics SE06 and SE07 frames are rated for 220 lb (99.8 kg) — and needs floor space plus, for frame-only models, a tabletop you supply.

Whichever you choose, check what the product raises: a platform that lifts the keyboard and the screen together holds them at the same relative height, while a model with a separate monitor column sets them independently. The SE04 and SE05 electric converters include monitor holders and a keyboard tray, keeping the screen and keyboard at separate levels. Both types let you change between sitting and standing height through the day; how you use that is up to you.

Installation and safety

Does QualGear provide installation or onsite assembly?

No. QualGear provides instructions and technical information only — not onsite installation, assembly, white-glove service, electrical work, or structural evaluation.

Who is responsible for the installation?

The customer: selecting the product and method, confirming the supporting structure's condition and capacity, using suitable fasteners, following the instructions, and choosing a qualified installer when needed.

When is professional installation strongly recommended?

When structural conditions are uncertain; when electrical work is involved; for overhead installation; for concrete, steel, masonry, trusses, or specialty ceilings; for unusually large or heavy equipment; and where local licensing requirements apply.

Can technical support tell me whether my wall or ceiling is structurally adequate?

No. Support can explain product requirements but cannot inspect or certify a structure remotely. Use a qualified contractor, engineer, or architect.

Can I exceed a product's published weight or size limit?

No. Exceeding published limits risks product failure, equipment and property damage, and personal injury, and it may void warranty coverage.

Can I modify, drill, weld, cut, or alter a QualGear product?

Unauthorized modifications are not recommended. They may affect strength, fit, safety, certification, and warranty eligibility. Contact QualGear first to ask about approved accessories or alternatives.

Can I use substitute screws, anchors, or fasteners?

Use only fasteners appropriate for the product, load, substrate, and installation method. Included hardware may not suit every structure; when the manual directs you to site-specific fasteners, a qualified professional should select them.

What should I inspect before placing equipment on the mount?

That the supporting structure is sound, fasteners are properly installed and tightened, safety devices are engaged, moving parts work, the assembly is level and stable, and the configuration matches the manual.

Should an installed mount be inspected periodically?

Yes — periodic inspection is prudent, especially for overhead, commercial, frequently adjusted, or high-traffic installations. Look for loose fasteners, movement, corrosion, wear, damage, or changes in the structure, and discontinue use if you find a safety concern.

Does QualGear technical support replace a licensed professional?

No. Technical support provides product information; it does not replace the judgment of a licensed contractor, engineer, electrician, architect, or other qualified professional.

What is the collision avoidance system on Star Ergonomics standing desk frames?

The SE06 and SE07 electric standing desk frames include a collision avoidance system that stops travel when an obstruction is detected. The controller also protects the drive electrically: on overcurrent, the desk lowers about 30 mm (1.2 in) and stops, and on overload the controller shows ER1 — remove weight from the desktop and disconnect power for about 10 seconds. Collision avoidance is listed per model, so check the product page rather than assuming a specific desk or converter includes it.

Shipping

Where is standard website shipping available?

The 48 contiguous United States.

Which carriers does QualGear use?

UPS and FedEx are our primary small-parcel carriers, USPS handles qualifying orders, and freight carriers handle large or oversized shipments.

Is the carrier shown at checkout final?

No. The carrier shown is based on information at order time and may change to complete the shipment, unless a specific arrangement is confirmed in writing.

Are delivery estimates firm commitments?

No, unless QualGear expressly confirms a specific delivery service in writing.

Does same-day processing mean the shipment moves the same day?

No. An order may be prepared but not scanned or moved until the carrier accepts it.

Can QualGear prevent carrier or weather delays?

No. Carriers control pickup, routing, transit, and final delivery.

What should I verify before submitting a shipping address?

The recipient name, street, suite or unit, city, state, postal code, and telephone number — and whether the destination is commercial, residential, limited-access, or appointment-required.

Can I request a specific carrier or service?

Yes — contact us before ordering. We review availability, eligibility, restrictions, and charges before confirming the arrangement.

Freight and LTL delivery

When will an order ship by freight or LTL service?

When it is large, heavy, palletized, or oversized.

How is a freight carrier or service selected?

Based on shipment size and weight, destination type, required delivery time, liftgate or appointment needs, carrier availability, and cost.

What special freight charges may apply?

Residential delivery, limited-access locations, liftgate service, inside delivery, delivery appointments, redelivery, storage, reconsignment, and other special services.

What is a limited-access location?

A destination the carrier classifies as limited access — for example schools, construction sites, government facilities, storage facilities, houses of worship, and locations without a loading dock. The carrier's classification and fees control.

Do I need a liftgate?

You need a liftgate if the destination has no loading dock or forklift. Confirm your unloading equipment before booking.

Can I request an appointment or inside delivery?

Yes, at additional cost, and it must be requested before shipment. Inside delivery is carrier-defined and generally excludes unpacking, installation, room-of-choice placement, and debris removal.

What should a commercial receiver do when freight arrives?

Inspect the pallet, cartons, wrap, straps, and product condition before signing. Note any visible loss or damage on the delivery receipt, retain the packaging, photograph everything, and contact QualGear promptly.

What if the carrier attempts delivery but the location is closed or unable to receive?

Redelivery, storage, or detention fees may apply. Provide accurate receiving hours, contact information, access instructions, and appointment requirements before shipment.

Special destinations and local pickup

Does standard checkout ship to Alaska or Hawaii?

Standard checkout may not support Alaska or Hawaii. Qualifying orders can be arranged through USPS or another carrier — contact us before ordering.

Can QualGear ship to U.S. territories or APO/FPO addresses?

Qualifying orders can ship by special arrangement. It depends on package size, product restrictions, carrier limits, documentation, and service availability at the destination.

Does QualGear ship internationally?

International shipping may be available by special arrangement. Contact us before ordering to review carriers, cost, restrictions, and documentation.

Who is responsible for international duties and taxes?

The recipient — import duties, customs charges, brokerage, VAT, tariffs, local handling, and other government assessments — unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Can international shipping costs or customs charges change?

Yes. They are determined by carriers, customs authorities, brokers, destination-country rules, classification, and other third parties.

Is local pickup available?

Local pickup may be available from our Anna, Texas distribution center for customers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. It must be confirmed in advance.

What must be confirmed before I travel for local pickup?

That the item is in stock, the order is ready, the facility is open, and an authorized team member is available to release the order.

What may be required at pickup?

Identification, your order confirmation, and purchaser authorization.

Can I use my own UPS, FedEx, freight, or other carrier account?

Yes, by prior arrangement. We may ask for the carrier name, account number, service level, billing postal code, contact information, pickup instructions, and shipping documents.

How is my carrier account information used?

Only to process the requested shipment. It is not shared without authorization, except as needed to complete the shipment or comply with law.

Do I need an appointment for local pickup?

Yes. Local pickup from the Anna, Texas distribution center is by appointment and must be confirmed in advance — the item in stock, the order ready, the facility open, and an authorized team member available to release the order.

Delivery, damage, and discrepancies

What should I do if my tracking has not updated?

Allow time for the first carrier scan. If tracking stays inactive or looks unusual, contact QualGear with your order number and tracking information.

What should I do if the carrier shows the package as delivered but I cannot find it?

Check the delivery location, doors and receiving areas, household members, neighbors, the mailroom, property management, and the carrier's delivery photo. Then contact the carrier and QualGear promptly.

What should I do if a package arrives visibly damaged?

Photograph the carton, the shipping label, the protective materials, and the damaged product before discarding any packaging. Keep all contents, then contact QualGear promptly with your order number, the model, a damage description, and photos.

Should I refuse a damaged shipment?

For severe visible damage, refusal may be appropriate — especially for freight. Document the condition and contact QualGear as soon as possible for instructions.

What should I do if my order is missing an item or contains the wrong item?

Contact QualGear promptly with your order number, packing information, the model or SKU, the quantity received, photos of the carton and contents, and a description of the discrepancy.

Why might QualGear request photographs or other shipment documentation?

Photos verify product identity, packaging condition, damage, missing contents, and claim requirements. QualGear may retain shipment photos as part of its quality-control and fulfillment procedures.

Can I discard the packaging before a shipping issue is resolved?

No. Keep the carton, pallet, labels, hardware, protective materials, and any damaged product until we confirm they are no longer needed. Discarding packaging may affect a carrier claim.

Are shipping or transportation issues covered by the product warranty?

Shipping issues are handled separately from product defects and must be reported within the applicable period. The warranty generally excludes transportation damage that was not reported as required.

Technical support

What type of technical support does QualGear provide?

Help with product specifications, package contents, assembly steps, installation instructions, compatible accessories, common troubleshooting, and replacement-part identification.

What information should I provide when requesting support?

The model or SKU, proof of purchase when relevant, your equipment's make and model, a clear description of the issue, installation details, and photos or video when requested.

Where can I find the product model number?

On the product label, packaging, order confirmation, invoice, retailer listing, instruction manual, or another product-identification label.

Can QualGear support identify a product from a photograph?

A clear photo may help. Identification is more reliable when you also provide the label, model number, order information, dimensions, and installation context.

Can technical support approve an installation that differs from the manual?

Support may explain configurations and accessories, but undocumented installations should not be assumed approved. Structural, code, electrical, or field-engineered changes need professional evaluation.

Can QualGear provide CAD files, dimensions, or commercial project information?

These may be available for qualifying commercial inquiries. Contact support or operations with the model number, project scope, the required file or dimension, and the intended use.

What should I do if I believe the product is unsafe or damaged?

Stop using or installing it, support the mounted equipment safely, and keep others away. Contact QualGear promptly with photos and details. For immediate structural or electrical safety concerns, engage a qualified professional.

How do the memory presets work on Star Ergonomics electric desk frames?

The SE06 and SE07 electric frames use a digital memory controller with three programmable height presets. Per the controller manual for the SE06 frame: adjust the desk to the height you want, press M (the display shows S-), then press 1, 2, or 3 — up to three heights can be stored. The controller also includes a sit/stand reminder timer adjustable in 30-minute steps up to 2 hours, a centimeter/inch display toggle, and a standby mode that wakes when you press and hold M for 3 seconds. See the manual on the product page for the full controller reference.

Why did my electric standing desk stop moving and show HOT or an error code?

Electric desk lift systems are designed for intermittent adjustment — manufacturers typically rate them for short periods of movement followed by a rest period, not continuous motion. If the Star Ergonomics controller shows ER2 or HOT, the system has run above its normal temperature: leave the desk idle for about 20 minutes to cool, and do not unplug it during that time. ER1 indicates an overload — remove items from the desktop and disconnect power for about 10 seconds. If a fault persists, use the controller manual's reset procedure: press and hold the down button until RST appears, then keep holding while the desk travels fully down, rises slightly, and stops. Contact QualGear support if an error code returns after a reset.

Dealer and commercial accounts

Does QualGear offer dealer or wholesale accounts?

Yes — for qualified businesses, professional installers, commercial customers, educational institutions, and government organizations.

What benefits may an approved account receive?

Depending on approval and account type: dealer pricing, volume pricing, commercial project support, dropshipping, resale tax treatment, access to professional AV products, indoor golf industry pricing, and product and order assistance.

Are dealer prices, credit terms, and benefits fixed?

No. They are subject to review, approval, and the applicable agreements.

What documents may be required for a dealer application?

Company formation or registration documents, a valid sales tax permit, a completed signed Form W-9, a completed signed resale certificate, a signed QualGear Minimum Advertised Price Policy, business contact and billing information, website or sales-channel information, and trade references or other verification documents when requested.

Does submitting an application mean automatic approval?

No. QualGear may review business legitimacy, sales channels, documentation, account fit, and market conditions.

Can schools, universities, government agencies, or commercial facilities request project support?

Yes — product selection, availability, documentation, volume requirements, shipping coordination, and project-specific information.

Does QualGear offer dropshipping?

Dropshipping may be available to approved accounts, subject to product eligibility, inventory, operational requirements, shipping terms, account standing, and applicable fees and agreements.

Can a tax-exempt or resale customer place an order without providing documentation?

QualGear may require valid exemption or resale documentation before applying tax treatment. You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and legally sufficient documents.

How do I request dealer-account information or application documents?

Email support@qualgear.com or call +1-972-423-5015 during business hours.

Indoor golf and Pro-AV projects

Does QualGear support indoor golf simulator installations?

Yes — with projector mounts, Pro-AV mounting components, cables, monitor mounts, desk mounts, and related accessories.

Who may apply for an indoor golf dealer account?

Indoor golf simulator companies, installers, resellers, and commercial facilities.

What project information should an indoor golf installer provide?

Can QualGear help configure a modular projector mounting system?

We can identify potentially compatible Pro-AV components and provide specifications. The installer remains responsible for the complete configuration, structural support, field dimensions, code compliance, and safe installation.

Can commercial customers request volume pricing?

Qualified customers may request volume or project pricing. It depends on the product, quantity, availability, account status, destination, timing, and project requirements.

Can QualGear reserve inventory for a future project?

Not automatically. Contact our operations team about timing, quantities, purchase commitments, shipment schedules, and written reservation arrangements.

Can Pro-AV products be used in schools, conference rooms, hospitality, or houses of worship?

They are designed for professional applications. Suitability depends on the exact equipment, structure, environment, code, and installation plan — a qualified installer should evaluate the site.

How much room do I need for an indoor golf simulator?

Each screen and net sold on the store publishes its own dimensions and space requirements on its product page — start there. As general guidance published by the golf equipment brands: plan on an 8 ft (2.4 m) ceiling as the working minimum, with 9–10 ft (2.7–3 m) more comfortable for full driver swings, and more for taller golfers. Before committing to a room, swing your longest club where you plan to play.

  • Depth: allow 12–16 in (30–41 cm) between the screen and the wall behind it, about 10–12 ft (3–3.7 m) from the hitting position to the screen, and about 7 ft (2.1 m) behind the hitting position. Rooms around 15–18 ft (4.6–5.5 m) deep work well, and radar launch monitors sit behind the ball and add their own placement distance inside that back space.
  • Width: 9–10 ft (2.7–3 m) covers single-orientation play, about 12 ft (3.7 m) is more comfortable, and roughly 14–15 ft (4.3–4.6 m) accommodates both right- and left-handed play. Leave at least 6 in (15 cm) of clearance on each side of an enclosure.

These figures are the equipment brands' published guidance, not QualGear specifications. Launch monitors and projectors are sourced separately — check each unit's manual for its own placement requirement.

How far should the projector sit from a golf simulator impact screen?

Projector placement is set by throw ratio: throw distance equals the throw ratio multiplied by the image width. Per projector manufacturers' golf simulator guidance, setups commonly use short-throw projectors in the roughly 0.69–0.89 throw-ratio band, with ratios near 0.5 for compact rooms, and the projector typically sits 2–3 ft (0.6–0.9 m) behind the hitting area — out of the swing path and positioned to reduce shadows.

Match the calculation to the screen size and aspect ratio you choose: each impact screen's product page lists its dimensions, and the equipment brand's support site provides a screen-distance calculator for this. QualGear's part of the job is the mounting — projector mounts, ceiling adapters, 1.5-inch NPT extension pipes, and projector brackets position the projector at the calculated point.

How do I choose an impact screen that fits my golf simulator enclosure?

SIGPRO impact screens are offered in four aspect ratios — 1:1, 4:3, 16:10, and 16:9 — across set size runs, and each screen line's size list includes cuts labeled for the SIG8, SIG10, and SIG12 enclosures. Choose the size labeled for your enclosure on the screen's product page rather than measuring by hand.

Per the equipment brand's published specifications, the SIG8 enclosure uses a square screen, so a widescreen projected image fills about 80 percent of it, while the SIG10 and SIG12 enclosures are proportioned so the image fills the screen fully. For rooms with ambient light, the blackout screen mounts behind a white impact screen using the same bungees and hook-and-loop attachment. The SIGPRO golf net can also be converted into a simulator screen by adding the SIG Preferred impact screen and its crossbar, both sold separately; the simple practice nets are for ball containment and are not listed for projected-image use.

Fit details for every screen and net are on each product page.

How much space does a launch monitor need in a golf simulator room?

It depends on the monitor's technology, and the manufacturer's manual for your specific model is the authority — launch monitors are not sold on this store. As published by the manufacturers:

  • Radar units sit behind the ball. FlightScope states the Mevo+ sits 7–9 ft (2.1–2.7 m) behind the hitting position and needs at least 8 ft (2.4 m) of ball flight indoors; Garmin states the Approach R10 sits 6–8 ft (1.8–2.4 m) behind the hitting position, with the hitting position at least 8 ft (2.4 m) from the net.
  • Camera-based overhead units mount above the hitting area. Uneekor states its units mount 9–10 ft (2.7–3 m) above the hitting area and recommends 12 ft (3.7 m) or more from the hitting position to the screen, with 10 ft (3 m) as the minimum for limited spaces.

Accessories on the store follow the same split: the rear golf mat extension gives behind-ball radar units a level, gap-free surface at the same height as the hitting mat, the fixed alignment dock fits the FlightScope Mevo+ only, and the Uneekor protective covers are model-specific — each cover fits only its own monitor. Fit details are on each product page.
