QualGear warranty

Limited warranty (parts only). Coverage for defects in materials and workmanship, by product family.

QualGear stands behind its products with a limited parts warranty. The warranty period depends on the product family — find your coverage below, then start a claim with our US-based support team in Anna, Texas.

Warranty periods

Coverage by product family. Parts-only coverage, from the original purchase date. The warranty period shown on each product's page governs for that model; a product-specific written warranty on the product page, packaging, or manual controls if it differs.

5 years

Pro-AV mounting systems & kits

QualGear Pro-AV mounting systems and complete projector mounting kits — QG-PRO and QG-KIT model numbers — carry a 5-year limited warranty (parts only).

Shop Pro-AV

2 years

Projector screens & screen fabrics

Fixed-frame projector screens and replacement screen fabrics carry a 2-year limited warranty (parts only).

1 year

All other QualGear products

TV, monitor, and projector mounts, cables, cable management, AV accessories, standing desks, and every other QualGear-branded product carry a 1-year limited warranty (parts only).

Remaining period

Replacement parts

Replacement parts are covered for the remaining period of the original product's warranty (parts only). A replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period.

Partner warranty

Indoor golf items

Indoor golf products are covered by our golf specialist partner's warranty, not the QualGear limited warranty. The warranty details for each golf item are in the disclosure on its product page. Start with QualGear support and we will route your request.

Manufacturer warranty

Other third-party-branded items

Items manufactured by a third party and sold under that manufacturer's own brand are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty, not the QualGear limited warranty. Coverage details are on the product's page.

Coverage

What the warranty covers. Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use — and what falls outside.

Covered

What's covered

Eligible QualGear product components that fail because of a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use — when the product is selected, assembled, installed, operated, and maintained for its intended purpose, within its published specifications, manual, safety warnings, and weight and size limits.

Parts only

What parts only means

Coverage applies to product components only. It does not include installation labor, removal, reinstallation, site access, lift or scaffold rental, contractor charges, engineering services, or other incidental service costs, unless a product-specific written warranty expressly states otherwise.

Excluded

What's excluded

Normal wear and cosmetic deterioration; improper selection or incompatible equipment; installation not performed per the instructions; misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident; exceeding published weight, size, or other limits; unauthorized alteration to the extent it caused the failure; corrosion, moisture, or outdoor use where the product is not rated for it; consumables subject to normal depletion; and shipping damage not reported within the required claim period.

Eligibility

Who's covered

The original purchaser of a new QualGear-branded product bought directly from QualGear or from an authorized retailer, distributor, or dealer, with proof of purchase. Purchases from unauthorized sellers, or used, as-is, or liquidation purchases, may be ineligible.

In transit

Shipping damage & missing parts

Transportation damage and missing items are handled under the shipping and returns process, not as warranty defects — report them promptly and keep the carton and packaging until the issue is resolved.

Shipping information

Warranty claims

How to make a claim. An approved RMA comes first — nothing ships back without one.

Step 1

Gather your information

Dated proof of purchase showing the seller and product, the model number or SKU, a clear description of the issue, and photos or video of the installation, product, and labels when requested.

Step 2

Contact support for an RMA

Email support@qualgear.com — subject line "Warranty Claim – [product model] – [order number]" — or call +1 972-423-5015, Mon–Fri 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT. Do not mail or return anything until we issue an approved RMA or written instructions.

Step 3

Evaluation

We review the claim and confirm coverage — an RMA by itself does not confirm it; coverage is determined after evaluation. We may ask for additional photos, or for the affected component to be retained or returned for inspection.

Step 4

Resolution

For covered claims, QualGear will — at its option — supply a replacement component, repair or replace the product with the same or a functionally equivalent model, or refund up to the original purchase price. In-stock replacement parts are generally processed for shipment within 3 to 5 business days after approval; this is a service target, not a promised delivery date. Standard outbound shipping of a confirmed covered replacement within the 48 contiguous states may be at QualGear's expense.

Warranty & replacement parts. The questions we hear most.

Does QualGear provide a warranty?
Yes. QualGear stands behind its products with a limited parts warranty. Pro-AV mounting systems and kits carry 5 years, projector screens and screen fabrics 2 years, and all other QualGear products 1 year — all parts only, from the original purchase date. Replacement parts are covered for the remaining period of the original product's warranty.
Is the warranty the same for every product?
No. The period depends on the product family, and a product-specific written warranty on the product page, packaging, or manual controls if it differs. Indoor golf items carry our golf specialist partner's warranty instead of the QualGear limited warranty. Other third-party-branded items carry the respective manufacturer's warranty.
What does the limited warranty generally cover?
Eligible QualGear product components that are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Verification of the purchase, product identity, issue, and installation may be required.
What costs are not covered?
Installation labor, removal labor, reinstallation labor, contractor charges, and related service costs — coverage is parts only, unless a product-specific written warranty expressly states otherwise.
What damage or conditions are excluded?
Misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, incompatible equipment, exceeding published weight or size limits, outdoor use where the product is not rated for it, and shipping damage not reported within the required period.
What information is required for warranty assistance?
Proof of purchase such as an invoice or receipt, the model number, a description of the issue, photos or video when requested, and your name, email, shipping address, and phone number.
Can I request a replacement part instead of returning the entire product?
Replacement parts may be available when the product and issue are eligible — it depends on the model, part inventory, coverage, and purchase verification. In-stock parts are generally processed for shipment within 3 to 5 business days after a claim is approved.
Are replacement parts always in stock?
No. Availability depends on the product's age, model status, and component inventory. Contact support with the model number and we will confirm what is available.
Will QualGear pay a contractor to remove and reinstall a product?
No, unless expressly agreed in writing. The warranty covers product components only — parts only — and does not include removal, reinstallation, or other service costs.
Does a replacement part extend or restart the original warranty?
No. A replacement part is covered for the remaining period of the original product's warranty (parts only) — supplying a replacement does not restart or extend the original product's warranty period.
Is help available after the warranty period ends?
Yes. Replacement parts and service may still be available after the warranty period — contact support with the model number. Out-of-warranty parts and service are at the customer's expense.
