Weatherproof, UV-resistant jacket rated for direct burial runs to cameras.
Take the network outside — to a camera on the eave, an access point across the lot, or a link between buildings. This Cat 6 outdoor ethernet cable wears a weatherproof, UV-resistant jacket rated for outdoor runs and direct burial, and carries 10 Gbps on lengths up to 15 ft / 4.6 m and 1 Gbps up to 200 ft / 61 m.
Runs over 200 ft / 61 m carry 100 Mbps, so match the length to the speed the device needs. Conductors are 24 AWG copper-clad aluminum (CCA) — stated plainly, as on QualGear's own listings — with gold-plated RJ45 contacts that resist corrosion at outdoor entry points. Eight black lengths run 25 ft / 7.6 m to 300 ft / 91.4 m. In the box: one Cat 6 outdoor cable in the selected length.
When an outdoor run needs 10 Gbps beyond 15 ft / 4.6 m, the QualGear Cat 7 outdoor S/FTP cable (QG-CAT7O) is the step up. Fasten above-ground sections with QualGear 7 mm / 0.28 in nail-in cable clips (CC7-B-100-P). Backed by a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty, parts only, a 30-day RMA, and US-based phone support at +1-972-423-5015.
