Installation support

Commercial golf questions answered Spec-first approach: exact requirements, precise answers

What ceiling types do your projector mounts support?
Our projector mounts support drywall, exposed beam, vaulted, and drop-ceiling installations. Load ratings vary by mount and are listed on each product page. We confirm structural compatibility during intake.
How do you handle different projector models and weights?
We specify the exact mount and extension pipe for your projector's make, model, and weight, and confirm the load calculations before you order. Each mount's rating is listed on its product page.
What's the minimum ceiling height for a commercial installation?
Required height depends on your projector throw ratio, screen size, and player clearance. Drop length is calculated from those specs — we confirm the exact figures during intake.
Can you spec multiple bays in one venue?
Yes. Multi-bay configurations require per-bay load calculations. Share your venue layout in the intake form and we'll spec the mounting hardware for each bay. Larger installations require custom design; contact our specialists.
Do you handle vaulted-ceiling installations?
Yes. Vaulted and cathedral ceilings require custom-drop solutions and precise angle measurement. We provide spec sheets and load calculations for each installation type during the intake process.
What components make up a commercial bay?
A bay combines an impact screen, an enclosure with padding and netting, a hitting mat, a projector, a launch monitor, and simulator software. QualGear supplies the golf components through our golf specialist partner, plus QualGear projector mounts, NPT extension pipes, ceiling adapters, and cables. Installation and labor are not included; we recommend professional installation for commercial venues.
How are commercial installations supported after purchase?
QualGear supports the mounting and AV infrastructure directly — call 1-972-423-5015 (Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central) or email us. Golf components are supported by our golf specialist partner under their product warranty; contact us first and we'll route your request. Select QualGear mounts are UL Listed — certification details are listed on each product page.
Can I order components separately after the initial installation?
Yes. Pro-AV components — mounts, extension pipes, ceiling adapters, and cables — are available separately. For volume quotes and the dealer program, visit our dealer page or contact our team.
